Flame resistance and Insulation properties

Fluorocarbon resin can have an effect of small friction, so it is used on machine or car components. Usually, especially the parts which must have a good slidability are coated with this material. This material is also widely used on car components where they have to resist severe conditions. Parts like bearings and washers are also coated by this material.

Heat resistance, cold resistance and chemical resistance

These are the most common properties of fluorocarbon resin. It is used in places where the temperatures are extremely high or in places where there are dangerous chemicals. Especially semiconductors are made of this material due to these properties. During the manufacturing of semiconductors, many chemicals are used and that may end up harming the semiconductor itself, so the chemical resistance property results extremely useful in this case.
